Next Steps

Refer a Client: We schedule a 15 Minute Intro Call

I'd like to learn more about the client, the case the complexity, the level of conflict, timeframe and a few other details.

How I can help on a case

  • Valuation for settlement negotiations, buyouts, and mediation
  • Sale strategy and timing built around your case timeline
  • Court-ordered sales and sales under a marital settlement agreement
  • Transaction management from listing to closing, with both parties kept informed
  • Expert witness services on property value and sale-related issues

What to expect when you refer a client

1. You send me a quick note.
Email or call with the client's name, the property address, and the basics: is there a deadline, is a court order or settlement in place, and is the other side represented? That's all I need to get started.

2. I reach out within [one business day].
I introduce myself to your client, explain my role, and confirm I represent the property, not either spouse. If opposing counsel is involved, I'm glad to connect with them directly so nobody is surprised.

3. I review the property and the situation.
I look at the home, the timeline, and any constraints such as occupancy, access, disputed items, or mortgage status. You'll hear from me about anything that could affect your case before it becomes a problem.

4. You get a clear plan.
I send you a written summary of [the valuation and recommended sale approach] so you can review it with your client before anything moves forward.

5. I manage the sale and keep you in the loop.
I handle the listing, showings, negotiations, and closing. [You'll get updates at each key milestone so you don't have to chase me.

6. The sale closes and I send you a closing summary.
You'll have what you need to finalize the settlement.

What I need from you

  • The property address and client contact information
  • Any court orders, deadlines, or settlement terms that affect the sale
  • Who has authority to make decisions and sign documents
  • Anything about the situation I should know, including difficult dynamics

How I handle the hard parts

  • I stay neutral. I don't advocate for either spouse, and I communicate with both sides consistently.
  • I stay in my lane. I give real estate guidance, not legal or tax advice. Those decisions stay with you and your client.
  • I protect your case timeline. If something threatens a deadline, you hear about it early.

Common questions

Do you work with both spouses?
Yes, when appropriate and with attorney involvement. My role is to serve the sale of the property, working with both parties with fair and equal communication.

Yes. Early conversations about valuation and timing often help a case settle more smoothly.
